Charmouth Parish Council is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone, and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

Charmouth Parish Council was last manually checked by a third-party specialist during August 2025 and was determined to be fully compliant with WCAG 2.1 level AA at that time. Compliance can change over time as new content is added and amended. If you believe any element of this site presents a barrier to AA compliance please do let us know below.
